Susan has an undergraduate degree in
Human Services from the University of
Oregon and holds a Masters in Social Work
from Portland State University. She is
Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker by the
State of Oregon and is a member of the
NASW (National Association of Social
Workers).

She has an extensive history in the field of
counseling ranging from serving as the
director of two alcohol and drug treatment
facilities to providing direct counseling in an
acute care psychiatric hospital setting.

Her focus has been on providing services to
youth, women and families.

In her private life, Susan is married and has
two grown sons. Her greatest joy in life is
spending time with her children and
grandchildren. She also finds tremendous
pleasure in photographing birds and hiking in
nature with her husband.
